MySQL is a Database Application that allows you to store and retrive data from your website. Databases can be used in many different ways such as, shopping systems, transaction processing or tracking, e-commerce, and many other uses.
MySQL, if used properly, can create be a very powerful website. MySQL can be used in conjuction with PHP for the front-end user interface allowing the user to completely interact with your database.
